Achieving a timeless interface to tell the history of Australia
I was tasked to reimagine the visual design, create a design system and templates with high accessibility standards for light and dark modes. We worked in sprints and tackling the project with close collaboration with the team and client stakeholders.

Using best practices to create a robust design system
I led the UI design for NLA, creating flexible, AA WCAG-compliant components inspired by enterprise and government systems like NSW Service and US Web. Using the Atomic framework and Material Design, I ensured consistency across stakeholder iterations. I also leveraged design tokens for efficient light/dark mode theming, streamlining handover and delivering a cohesive, accessible design system.
Positive user feedback
Thanks to the collaborative effort of the agency, we received overwhelmingly positive feedback among test participants and the client's stakeholders. The user experience and updated visual design serves well for both library users and staff.
