A modern, research-rich website advocating for household and small business energy consumers
Energy Consumers Australia (ECA) is the national voice for residential and small business energy consumers. ECA needed a new website that could communicate clearly with government, regulators, consumer advocates, and the general public. My team and I was engaged to design, develop, and launch a new website that reflects ECA’s purpose, strategic priorities, and growing impact. The new platform needed to be accessible, reflect the brand's personality and be enjoyable to visit.

During moderated design testing, participants praised the clarity of the homepage, colours and illustrations increased engagement and the thoughtful layout of content. Small business participants especially appreciated the inclusive imagery and clear calls to action in the consumer hub.

The final website positions ECA as a trusted, evidence-led advocate in the energy sector. From improved navigation and inclusive design to clearer grant pathways and richer insights pages, the new platform reflects ECA’s mission and supports its strategic goals.
